At Imani, the seventh day of Kwanzaa, family and friends of the Paynes gathered for a celebration in Gloucester’s Hunters Run subdivision. Darryl “Chico” Payne reported that four generations of his family were there; and that he is thankful to be alive to embrace his great-grandchildren.
