Christchurch School senior Michelle Bracken of Gloucester, above, is one of the captains of the CCS swim team that competed in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II State Invitational last weekend at Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center in Manassas. The Seahorses boasted 27 personal-best individual swims. Bracken is the daughter of Steve and Teresa Hinton of Gloucester. The team, which is coached by Dave Cola and Haley Wilbanks, will take part in the 2023 VISAA Swimming and Diving Meet at Liberty University on Feb. 17-18.
