CCS softball

The Christchurch School softball team continues its inaugural season despite some rain postponements. The team goes into its fourth game at 4 o’clock today, Thursday, April 4, against St. Catherine’s (Richmond) on the Seahorses’ home field at Middlesex County Sports Complex. St. Catherine’s record is 8-1. The Seahorses are 2-1 with wins over Lancaster High School (Lancaster) and Collegiate School (Richmond). This is the second time the Seahorses and St. Catherine’s will square off, having lost to them, 8-0, in their first matchup. Seahorse team captains are, from left, Channing Lewis ‘24, daughter of Russ and Jill Lewis of Tappahannock; Bridget Wiseman ‘24, daughter of Mark and Debbie Wiseman of Farnham; and Teresa Espiritu ‘26, daughter of Rahn and Annie Espiritu of Gloucester.
