Gloucester’s Economic Development office has several upcoming workshops for the benefit of the local business community.

The first workshop, “Art as a Business,” will be held from 7:30-10 a.m. Friday at Main Street Center. This breakfast lecture will focus on embracing and understanding the business side of selling art.

Featured speaker Marc Wilson, a small business strategist, will share how to engage your collector, build your brand and social media presence, write business plans and artist statements and more, according to a release.
