Business open house

Visitors were steady at the Farmers and Fishermen’s building on Saturday during an open house to introduce the community to several new businesses, including The Vintage Pearl consignment and home décor shop, Just Teasin’ hair salon, Melanie Miles CPA MTX, and Kellar’s Tutoring Services, as well as to an old one—the Gazette-Journal. In the photo above, Joanne Julian of Gloucester checks out a large wooden Christmas wreath at The Vintage Pearl. Below, Gazette-Journal employee Kim Andrews, center in mask, gets a visit from family members, from left, Jenny Arnder, Nancy Abdill, Linda Schmidt and Bonnie Campbell, all of Gloucester, and Carly Brown and Thea Rose Brown of Mathews.
