A Community Fall Festival will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point. The rain date will be Nov. 15.
There will be games, food, hayride, face-painting, pumpkin-decorating, and lots of fun and fellowship, a release stated. The Christian band “Rooted” will perform at noon.
Attendees are asked to bring canned food to be donated to Helping the Homeless.
Three United Methodist churches, Bethany, Susanna Wesley and Bellamy, have been working together to plan the festival. A grant was received from the Mission Rivers District of the United Methodist to support this outreach project....
