The Full Hike, a 9.5-mile trek from one end of Beaverdam Park to the other, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, beginning at 10 a.m. Participants will meet at the main entrance at Roaring Springs Road, where they will be shuttled to the Farys Mill Road location.

Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks, wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. The registration fee is $5 and the deadline to register is this Saturday, Feb. 10.

YOUTH BASKETBALL: Signups are underway for Senior League (ages 15-18) and Junior League (ages 12-14) basketball. The leagues will play early March through late April. Teams meet for practices and games twice a week, Monday-Thursday. Volunteer coaches are needed.
