The Beaverdam Triathlon will be held on Saturday, May 11, beginning at 7 a.m. at the Gloucester park.

The event, for ages 16 years and older, consists of a 2.5-mile run, a 6.1-mile bike ride and a 1.9-mile paddle. Mountain bikes and recreational canoes and kayaks only; no street bikes or racing watercraft. The fee is $50, and the registration deadline is April 11.
