Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism will hold The Full Hike, a 9.5-mile trek from one end of Beaverdam Park to the other, beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks, wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. The registration fee is $5 and the deadline to register is Saturday.YOUTH SOCCER: Gloucester PRT is sponsoring spring soccer for ages 4 through 14. Games will be held from late February through early May for ages 4-11; for those ages 12-14, the program will run from mid-March through mid-May. Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays with games on Saturdays at Ark and Abingdon parks; possibly some other locations for the older players. The registration fee is $45 if registered by Jan. 21 or $50 Jan. 22 through Feb. 4.
