Several Gloucester Baystars youth soccer teams posted wins to close out the 2023 season.

WHITE CAPS: The Baystars U9 White Caps played its final season game Saturday, where they hosted the Beach FC Avengers. Trailing at the half, the White Caps rallied and fought for their 6-4 win. 

Ryan Seay scored three goals, Wyatt Brockenbrough had two and Theo Collins’ penalty kick found the net for one point. Fett Kutch and Graham Kittrell split time in the goal and scored two saved goals each. The White Caps finished their TASL (Tidewater Advanced Soccer League) fall season undefeated, with a record of 6-0-2. 

CAPTAINS: The Baystars U12 Captains placed first in the Tidewater Association Soccer League Divisional Championship over the weekend at Woodville Park, 7-1. During Saturday’s game, Owen Thomas scored three goals and Tyler Byrne scored two goals. Dean Christensen and Austin Sutton both scored one goal each. Byrne, Sutton and Thomas had assists.
