The Baystars Kraken 11U baseball team kicked off its season with a 15-6 win over the Hampton Roads Hurricanes at Zook Field in Yorktown. The team had a total of 14 hits with six players in having multiple hits, with Lucas Reaves and Joey Chwalik had three hits each.

Jackson Koch and William Rousseau led the team in RBIs with three EACH. Chwalik, Jackson and William had doubles during the game. The Kraken stole 17 bases in the game as well. Koch, Chwalik and Reaves along with Morgan Sterne all pitched during the Kraken’s win.

The Baystars Kraken will take the field again on April 3 at Ark Park against the Virginia Beach Blacksox.
