For over 25 years, the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews has hosted an annual gala and art auction as the primary fundraising event to support the center’s community outreach programs.
This year’s event, “A Night in Paris Gala & Art Auction,” will be held beginning at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the waterfront estate Brighton Farm, the home of Robert Williams and Elizabeth Rountree.
An open bar and appetizers will accompany a silent auction of fine art and collections of items and experiences, said a press release.
Madison Franks on piano will set the tone early in the evening with cocktail music, while Tony Mata will provide jazz guitar during dinner.
Chef Brian Marshall of Gloucester has devised a Paris-themed dining experience, said the release, and dinner will be followed by the live auction.
