A fashion show fundraiser will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at the Bay School Community Arts Center, Main Street, Mathews.

“Classics in Fashion” will feature many retro styles that could have been worn by the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, according to a press release. New and gently used clothing will be presented by local artist Pam Manz.

Models will be wearing painted designer pieces in order to raise funds for both the Bay School and the Beautiful Gate Orphanage in Lesotho, Africa, said the release. 

Refreshments will be served while those attending shop for their favorite pieces, which will range in price from $10 to $20. Tickets are $10 per person at the door. For more information, call 804-725-1278. ...
