One South Realty Group recently announced its merger with Bay Properties. Bay Properties is now a wholly owned subsidiary of One South Realty Group in Richmond.

Located in Mathews, Bay Properties and its agents have served clients primarily in the counties of Mathews, Gloucester, Middlesex and Lancaster for the past 30 years. 

Managing Broker Sonny Richardson obtained his real estate license in 1972, keeping in the tradition of his father, a licensed agent and tugboat captain.

A lifelong resident of Mathews, Richardson began practicing real estate in 1978 after serving for three years as Mathews County’s first county administrator.  Richardson opened Bay Properties in 1988 to serve the unique needs of the bay area, a One South release stated.
