Aug. 28 tourney to benefit GHS, MHS golf

The Harcum Hunt Club’s Summer Classic Golf Tournament, with part of the proceeds to benefit the golf programs at Gloucester and Mathews high schools, will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28, at the Golden Eagle Golf Club, Irvington, with an 11 a.m. shotgun start.

Prizes include closest to the pin on all par 3s, longest drive, putting contest, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. The cost is $300 per foursome, which includes a cart, greens fee, range balls and a box lunch. Sponsorships are also available.
