Audrey Slaughter, 75, of Port Haywood, died June 23, 2013 with her sons, Robert Ray and Mikey, holding her hands and comforting her.

She was born Sept. 1, 1937 to Dennis and Ola Drisgell.

She was the widow of Robert F. Slaughter.

Her life was made happier by her dog, Poochie.

A memorial service will be held July 16 at 7 p.m. at Mathews Baptist Church. She was interred at her home.
