As you prepare for fall road trips, don’t neglect your vehicle

Fall means road trips and planning for holiday trips. With COVID-19 still a very real threat, traveling by car remains a popular option for those that choose to vacation. There are a few simple things every driver can do to make sure his or her vehicle is ready for the road.

“With so many people driving less and less since last spring, there’s a possibility that their regular vehicle maintenance may have slipped thought the cracks. Before leaving on an extended drive, people should make sure their cars are in top shape,” AAA Tidewater Virginia spokesperson Holly Dalby said.

Not only can regular maintenance decrease the chances of a vehicle breakdown on the road, it can extend the life of your vehicle and help prevent costly repairs, as well.
