Anglers find success at Beaverdam

Anglers are catching Largemouth bass, black crappie, white perch and bluegill from the banks of Gloucester’s Beaverdam Park using minnows, Crappie jigs as well as flies, according to Park Ranger Elizabeth Keefer.

Beaverdam Park is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through Jan. 31. The park rents watercraft, sells bait and concessions. For more information, call the Ranger Station at 804-693-2107.
