Historian Andy Graff will discuss Virginia’s postal history with a local emphasis at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Gloucester County Library, Main Street Center. Graff will showcase examples from his collection of envelopes and postmarks from Gloucester County, a release said. Graff has been combining his love of history and postal collecting since the 1980s and is a former board member of the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society, a release said. He grew up on the Northern Neck and has spent his adult life in Albemarle County where he owns Old Albemarle Surveying LLC. He has given several talks about his collection to historical societies in Lancaster, King and Queen, and King William counties, among others.
