While this country has a hateful past, where labor was forced and not paid, we have changed and continue to work on it. This country is one where people now come to peruse passions that seem unbelievable. My dream is to be president, not as a leader but as a guider of the future, and that is possible because of my ability to even participate and voice my opinions in politics. As a direct result of immigration, freedom is most important to me because not many people flee their home willingly. This country has freedom unimaginable in other countries. This country is one where women can wear what we want, go to school, go to college, pay for our own things, walk the streets by ourselves, own property, have a job, and vote. We live in a world where people suppress their wants and opinions because they are worried about being taken into the streets ...
