7 GHS field hockey players honored for academic excellence

Seven Gloucester High School field hockey players have been named to the 2017 Keith Waldman-Optimal Performance Associates/NFHCA High School Academic Squad. 
The program recognizes high school juniors and seniors who achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2017-2018 school year. 
Juniors and seniors who achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.9 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2017-2018 school year were recognized as Scholars of Distinction. 
Named to the NFHCA High School Academic Squad were Madi Hodges, Madison Johnson, Jillian Lawrence, Kessa Romero, Elizabeth Thomas, Carli Walke and Whitney Robins, who was recognized as a Scholar of Distinction....
