11U Kraken wins doubleheader

The Baystars Kraken 11U baseball team traveled to New Kent for a doubleheader against the Knights to start the fall season. The Kraken won both games, 17-0 and 10-5.

Game one

Conner Lee was the starting pitcher for the Kraken, and went four innings allowing zero runs and only one hit, while striking out eight batters and walking none. Kane Shager finished the game on the mound.

At the plate the Kraken had 13 hits with William Rousseau, Easton Scott and Duke Hamm each had multiple hits. Rousseau went 3-for-3 at the plate recording three runs and batting one run in. The most scoring came in the fourth inning thanks to Rousseau, Gage Mulcahy and Wesley Falkenberg each hitting doubles and driving in 10 runs.Scott had three runs, Hamm, Kaiden Williams and Benjamin Patterson crossed home plate twice and Falkenberg, Mulcahy, Lee, Knox Briggs and Callum Lenczewiski had one run each.
