Yolanda Teschner opened Yolanda’s, a retailer offering “unique quality clothing for women and a very personalized experience,” in 2008. The boutique is now located at 6658 Main Street, Gloucester, although it opened in smaller quarters nearby.
Yolanda says, “Even when you own a business, life still happens,” and as a mother of five, and a grandmother, sister and daughter, she says “finding the balance between family and business is difficult at times.” She is grateful for her supportive family as she runs her store.
The support walks through her front doors: her daughter Raphaella has worked with her since she opened the firm, and her other children have helped with store windows, photography, and sales.
A native of Caroline County, Teschner holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Christopher Newport University and bringing a long background in rental property experience to her business expertise.
