“Yesss, God!” a 26-page children’s praise book by Nancy Berkley Carson of Saluda, contains 10 watercolor illustrations by Mindy Davis of Mathews that illustrate children from all walks of life, including one with a disability. It is written for ages 2-5 years. Carson said she wants to make a positive impact on children’s lives and is self-publishing other books, as well, under her own imprint, Berkley Books. “Yesss, God!” is available for $10 at the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center, the Mathews Museum, and amazon.com.
