The Chesapeake Bay Writers monthly Open Mic series continues at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mathews Memorial Library on Main Street in Mathews. It is free and open to the public. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

Writers who are interested in reading their work should arrive at 1 p.m. and sign up to be included on the program. Readers will be limited to prose of up to 2,500 words, five poems of no more than 50 lines each, or five haiku.
