WILMA “VIVIAN” QUINLAN

Wilma “Vivian” Quinlan, 90, of Bohannon, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was a member of the Lions Club and Christ Church, Kingston Parish, in Mathews. Vivian was a well-known caterer and wedding cake decorator, she was an excellent seamstress, loved fishing and gardening, and was known for her crab feasts.

Vivian was predeceased by her husband, George E. Quinlan; four sisters, Eva “Pat” Weathersby, Margaret “Skippy” Ferris, Sarah “Jeanie” Craft, and Teresa Smith, and a brother, Jack Austin.

She is survived by three sons, Jon Edward Quinlan (Sylvia), Martin Thomas Quinlan (Pienthong) and Brian David Quinlan; two daughters, Martha “Britt” Elizabeth Quinlan and Rebecca Q. Skowron (Robert); four granddaughters, Shannon Caprio (Chip), Jill Quinlan, “Jacki” Quinlan and Kristin Culbertson (Walter); a grandson, David John Skowron (Kristen); two great-granddaughters, Kayla and Kasadi, and a sister, Natalie “Becky” Forchas.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Christ Church, 320 Williams Wharf Road, Mathews, Virginia 23109. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
