William Boyd Moore of Norfolk, Va., passed away on Aug. 12, 2014.

He was the youngest son of the late Herbert Hope Moore and Bertha Plummer Moore. Bill was predeceased by his life partner, Arthur Rollins; his brother, Wilson, and sisters, Elva Moore and Mildred Moore DeBolt. He is survived by a brother, Atwood Moore of Tucson, Ariz., and eight nieces and nephews.

Bill’s greatest joy in life came from flowers and his ability to arrange them was a God-given talent. Everyone who knew him benefited from his talent in so many ways. He is now reunited with his family and the love of his life. May he rest in peace.

There will be a memorial service at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1004, Graydon Avenue, Norfolk, Va. 23507 on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 2 p.m.

H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, is assisting the family.

There will be a private burial at a later date. A reception at the church will follow the service.
