Wild Rabbit relocates in Gloucester C.H.

Gloucester’s Wild Rabbit Café is hopping down Main Street to new digs elsewhere in the village.

Effective Tuesday, Sept. 3, the Wild Rabbit will be open in the Morgan Building, a few blocks from its current location on Main Street.

Owner Ana Ferreira of Gloucester said that she found the present space too large for her needs so she jumped at the opportunity to share space in the rear of The Morgan Building with Sweet Tooth Parlor, which is owned by Crystal Burton.

 

Ferreira said she plans to keep the favorites from the current shop such as the Wild Rabbit salad, zucchini bread, tomato bisque and paninis. Some menu items showcase Ferreira’s native Portugal, including custards and kale spinach soup, she said, and the cafe will sell some of Burton’s baked goods.

With smaller space, Ferreira said she will employ four full- and part-time workers, down from six now.
