The Baystars U-11 Whitecaps played to a 1-1 draw against Virginia Valor FC, then took a 3-0 win against the St. James Football Club, during the Williamsburg Columbus Day Invitational on Saturday at the Warhill Sports Complex. Noah Ford, on a pass from Ronen Lane, placed the only Whitecaps’ score on the first game with Triffon Leuchauer recording five saves. Scoring against St. James were Ford (twice) and Colton Bergstrom. Leuchauer added four saves.
