Webinar helps small businesses with Employee Retention Credit funds

Are you a business that continued to pay wages to some or all employees between March 12, 2020 and Jan. 1, 2022? You may be eligible for funding through the Employee Retention Credit.

The Retail Alliance will hold an informational webinar session on ERC—what it is and who qualifies—beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 27.

Designed to assist businesses in retaining their workforce during difficulties faced during the recent pandemic, the ERC has been a critical lifeline for numerous organizations, a release stated.

Michael Glick from BottomLine Concepts will walk participants through the eligibility criteria and answer any questions about the process.

The program is available free to Retail Alliance members; $10 for non-members. Based in Norfolk, and serving the greater Hampton Roads region, Retail Alliance is an organization that serves local businesses through advocacy, education and training, networking and marketing and promotion.
