The baseball and softball teams of Ware Academy were honored at Deltaville Ballpark on Saturday night prior to the Deltaville Deltas baseball game. The Ware Waves teams called Deltaville Ballpark home this spring, and had successful 11-2 and 10-2 seasons, respectively. Baseball captain Brandon Hubbard, at left, and softball captain Hailey Love, right, threw out the ceremonial first pitches prior to the Deltas’ game after both teams were recognized on field by Ware athletic director Allie Robins.
