This year’s official 2024 Virginia History Ornament features a moonlit holiday sleigh ride through a blanket of freshly fallen snow to Natural Bridge, located in Rockbridge. Natural Bridge is a 200-foot-tall limestone archway carved by the flowing waters of Cedar Creek. The ornament also commemorates the 250th anniversary of Thomas Jefferson’s acquiring the site in 1774. The ornament is available through the Virginia Museum of History & Culture website (https://virginiahistory.org) and costs $24.95 apiece.
