The Virginia Institute of Marine Science has announced that all of its public events and gatherings of 10 or more people, whether in VIMS facilities or sponsored by VIMS at off-campus locations, are suspended through June 10 unless Gov. Ralph Northam’s current stay-at-home order is rescinded. This includes suspension of public access to the VIMS Visitor’s Center on the Gloucester Point campus.
