Dolores Valenta of Moon, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, was named last week by Gov. Glenn Youngkin to a four-year term on the Virginia Board of Nursing.
The 14-member board regulates Virginia’s nurses (RNs and LPNs), Advanced Practice RNs, including Nurse Anesthetists and Nurse Midwives, Nurse Aides, Advanced Certified Nurse Aides, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Medication Aides and Massage Therapists. The board also approves and regulates in-state education programs for nurses, nurse aides and medication aides.
