Two Gloucester High School alumni were among the standouts on the Eastern Mennonite University men’s volleyball team as the Royals opened their season Saturday.
Junior Jacob Durren had seven kills and three blocks while freshman David Ward smashed seven kills in matches against Southern Virginia. EMU dropped both matches to the No. 14 ranked Knights.
