The Piankatank Ruritan Club, Hudgins, will hold a turkey shoot on Saturday at the pavilion in back, starting at 5 p.m. Stock 12 gauge only, barrel not longer than 36 inches (no modified barrels allowed).

Only cash will be awarded to winners in each of the seven rounds (no turkeys, bacon, pork, chicken wings, etc.). The first couple of rounds are 50/50, then the percentage of the winner’s prize increases until the final round, which is a 100 percent cash prize. How much cash is awarded will depend on how many shooters participate. Food will be available for purchase.

A $60 package gets a participant all the rounds including the 100 percent payout round and the $50 Walmart gift card round. Individual rounds (six, including the gift card round) are $10 each. Participants must purchase the $60 package to participate in the 100 percent payout round.
