Triad recognizes Proffitt

Mathews Triad recognized Nicholas Proffitt, community liaison for the office of Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, during a gathering on Tuesday at the Piankatank Ruritan Club. Over the four years that he’s been serving in the position, Proffitt has attended numerous events and activities sponsored by Mathews Triad. President Alice Stewart said the group was grateful for the support he has provided. Proffitt told those present at the Ho Ho Bingo event, rescheduled from before Christmas, that Mathews is fortunate that it has one of the strongest Triad organizations in the state. “You do an incredible amount of work,” he said.
