Trash to Treasure

Bay Quilters of Mathews holds a Trash to Treasure silent auction every year as a way for members to clean out unwanted tools and fabric from their own stashes and recycle them. The auction provides new quilters a way to acquire the tools of the trade at a reasonable cost while seasoned quilters often find just the right fabric for a special project. This year, in addition to the goods delivered during the annual food drive, Bay Quilters donated a part of the proceeds from this auction to Hands Across Mathews.
