Tidewater Orthopaedics gives $81,000+ to GMCC

The Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic recently received a sizeable contribution from Tidewater Orthopaedics, as $81,243.99 was given to the clinic as part of Tidewater Orthopaedics’ charity care program.

GMCC, like all nonprofits, has worked to adapt its operations to the changing financial climate, and depends on support from the community to help further its mission of providing compassionate care to those in need, a release said.

Brandon Thompson, Administrator of the CarePlex Orthopaedics Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Will Viola, Director of Marketing for Tidewater Orthopaedics, presented the check to GMCC’s Executive Director Arlene Armentor earlier this week.

“This gift is truly a blessing to receive, and we are so thankful for the amazing generosity of Tidewater Orthopaedics,” Armentor said. “We’re fortunate to live in such a supportive community.
