THERESA ROSE TAYLOR

Theresa Rose Taylor, 22, of Manassas, Va., earned her angel wings on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014

Theresa was born on Jan. 10, 1992 in Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Va. She spent her formative years in Gloucester, Va. She moved to Manassas in 2008. A 2010 graduate of Osbourn High School, she had been working on an associate’s degree at Northern Virginia Community College.

A beautiful girl, she cared deeply for her friends. Although she battled with depression, she had a wry sense of humor and could be quick with something witty to say. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends, and working in the restaurant industry.  She had worked at Hooters (Williamsburg), Glory Days Grill (Manassas and Centreville), Longhorn Steak House (Manassas), Chili’s (Manassas), and Tazo Pizza (Manassas).

She loved animals of all kinds but especially dogs. When she committed herself to doing something she was passionate about, she would put her full tiny tornado (TT) force into it. She will be remembered for her “take me as I am” attitude. She also loved movies, TV crime/reality shows, sleeping in, and driving her car.

She is survived by her parents, Ricky and Michelle Taylor of Gloucester; her sister, Barbara “Barbie” Hauber;  her brother-in-law, Scott Hauber; her nephew, Thomas Hauber, her grandparents, Walter and Janet Jaco Taylor, and Barbara and Greeley Gamble; her aunts, Dawn Englert Rensing and Jennifer Hewitt;  her god-parents, Theresa and Bruce Menzel, and by many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, in Andrews Funeral Home, 7192 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061, 804-693-2366.
