Jeanell LaFata is president of the Teagle Insurance Agency of Gloucester, Inc., located on 6802 Teagle Lane. “As a business leader, you are always looking for ways to improve,” and because of this, “You are always thinking of your business, which can be really exciting, but you have to learn when to unplug,” LaFata said. Teagle is an independent insurance agency offering auto, home, life and business insurance. The firm works with various companies to find policies that “best suit our individual clients,” she said.

A native of Hampton, she said each member of her team has something to contribute to success. “The key is to find what makes each person tick and develop a role that best suits each person,” she said. LaFata said this creates a team effort where “no one job is more important than the other.”

LaFata and her husband Francesco reside in Hayes. They have seven grown children and five grandchildren.
