“Tastefully Yours,” a fundraising event for the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, will be held from 6-9:30 p.m. next Thursday, April 13, at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

The food-tasting event gives those attending a chance to sample the culinary creations of over 36 local restaurants, enjoy craft beer and wine, dance to the sounds of a jazz band and DJ, and play games in a “funny money” casino.

The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank provides hunger relief to Gloucester and Mathews counties as well as to the communities on the Peninsula. It supports over 170 member agencies and programs and has provided over 137 million meals in the 31 since it was established.

Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door and can be purchased at www.hrfoodbank.org/tastefully-yours or at any BayPort Credit Union location. ...
