Four-legged guests

Tail wags and happy faces filled the room at Bay Aging’s Mathews Active Lifestyle Center during a recent visit from a pair of special four-legged guests. Participants enjoyed a heartwarming visit from Canine Companions therapy dog Canto, accompanied by his owners Tom and Vivian Steuterman of North, as well as Kobe, a future service dog currently being raised for Canine Companions by Tiffany Gordon, Director of Mathews Social Services. “There’s a special kind of magic that happens when dogs walk through our doors,” said Laura Matthews, Mathews Active Lifestyle Manager. “Seeing the pure joy and bright smiles on participants’ faces reminds us just how powerful that unconditional connection really is.” Tom is shown here holding Canto’s leash while Vivian is with Kobe....
