Fishermen and women are encouraged to sign up for the Tappahannock Rotary Club’s 19th annual Rappahannock River Big Croaker Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, June 24.

Thousands of dollars in prizes will be on the line, with all profits going to charitable causes. Fishing will be between the bridges at Tappa-hannock and White Stone from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. that day.

The boat entry fee is $175; early registrants before June 8 will pay $150 and also get a free T-shirt. Full details and registration/payment is available online at www.bigcroaker.com.
