The Tappahannock Art Gallery at 200 Prince Street is featuring the colorful art of the students of Tappahannock Elementary School, James H. Cary Intermediate School, Aylett Country Day School, Essex High School and St. Margaret’s School.

The multi-media artworks selected by their teachers will be on display through May 21 during the gallery’s regular hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from noon until 4.

A reception will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, at the gallery to celebrate the art and honor these young artists, their parents and their teachers. Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited.
