There have been a number of recent changes at the Subway shop located inside the Walmart store in Gloucester, including a new manager.
Kristy Smith of Gloucester Point, chief executive district manager for Subway, said the new store manager is Rebecca Banach and the new assistant manger is Dallen Bonds, both of Gloucester.
They are supported by a team of 12, including second assistant manager William Hudgins of Mathews, and shift managers Loke Coleman and Joey DeVault, both of Gloucester.
Besides new management, Smith said, the Subway at Walmart now serves customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. She said that the Walmart employees and other customers like having a convenient restaurant where they can eat during day and night hours.
Besides the regular subs and salads found at other Subway stores, Smith said, the Walmart location also sells Icee frozen drinks, nachos, pretzels and popcorn.
