Student creations to be exhibited at Ware Church Art Walk

A community Art Walk event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Ware Episcopal Church.

The free event is a collaboration between Ware Episcopal and Gloucester County Public Schools’ art teachers. The teachers will be providing student artwork for an outdoor exhibit on the church grounds.

“This past year has really been tough on kids and parents,” said Ware Rector Scott Parnell. “We want them to know we realize that and to let kids know that we appreciate them and support them, and we want to give them an opportunity to be celebrated.”

The afternoon will also include family photo opportunities, an opportunity to plant in the Ware Gardens, craft opportunities, a nature walk/scavenger hunt, live music and informational exhibits.

Those attending are asked to wear a mask. In case of rain, the event will be held on March 20.
