Strong pitching leads Deltas to weekend sweep

The Deltaville Deltas swept their weekend series, winning in walk-off fashion on Friday night by the score of 2-1 and defeating the Richmond El Heaters in a 5-2 win on Saturday.
With the wins, the Deltas move to 9-2 in league play and 11-2 overall. They sit in sole possession of second place, just behind the still-undefeated Richmond River Dogs (9-0-1).
This weekend, Deltaville will host the Richmond Yankees on Saturday night at 7:30 at Deltaville Ballpark. On Sunday, the Deltas hit the road to visit the El Heaters in Richmond.

Jay Moore took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, and Kevin Cole drove in the game-winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, as the Deltas snatched a 2-1 win over Caribe Baseball on Friday night.
