Stratford Hall Historic Preserve in Westmoreland County invites guests to explore its historic buildings and grounds in 18th-century holiday décor as part of its annual Christmastide event from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13.
In addition to open-house tours, the event will include colonial music by Ampersand in the Great Hall, foodways with expert historic interpreter Dontavius Williams in the Historic Kitchen, tractor wagon rides, take-home ornament crafts, and a 10 percent discount in the Gift Shop (some exclusions apply). This year, Stratford Hall will feature the 1710 Tavern for its Christmastide Dinner at 6 p.m. in the Dining Room.
