Stilianos signs with Lions

Steven Stilianos of Hayes, a 2018 graduate of Christchurch School, continues to make his mark beyond the college game. A standout player, he helped lead the 2017 CCS Seahorse football team to the VISAA State Championship. He went on to play tight end for Lafayette College and, as a graduate transfer, at the University of Iowa. Last spring, with his graduate degree in hand and newly married, Stilianos signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans. His preseason work was successful, but after playing in most of the preseason contests, in the end, he did not make the final roster. Early this spring, the UFL’s San Antonio Brahmas signed the now 255 lbs. tight end, where he played in nine games. Last week, it was reported that he has signed with the Detroit Lions.
